What’s the difference between “Exposure Correction” and “Artistic Color Correction”…?

“Exposure Correction” refers to making subjects match in a virtual group.

  • If you photograph 500 kids in 3 capture stations on a day with variable weather, you’re going to get results that look odd when composited into a single virtual group.
  • We will ensure that the lighting is consistent for all subjects in a virtual group, helping sell the illusion that all subjects were shot at the same time and place.

“Artistic Color Correction” refers to making aesthetic judgements to get the best-looking color possible from your images.

  • We are frequently asked if we can help rescue images, or generally improve color for large color sets.
  • If this is of interest please contact us to discuss.
